The 2711-K5A5 is a PanelView 550 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. The unit has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 256 x 128. It has Two (2) built-in ports intended for DH485 and RS232 (DF1) communication. The 2711-K5A5 PanelView 550 has Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) assignable to perform variety of application in terminal runtime. Functions such as tag trigger, initiate command or sequence, initiate system functions and events, alarm acknowledgement are some of the assignable functions. The terminal has Monochrome LCD blue mode display with a backlight life of 100,000 hr. The 2711-K5A5rated power supply input range is 85-264V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. It supports alarm handling, screen security, analog gauges, ATA memory card for expansion of non-volatile memory. Initial configuration can be accomplished through the terminal’s configuration mode menu. Detailed configuration and terminal graphics design can be done using PanelBuilder32 software. Create process mimic display using the software’s library of elements such as Pushbuttons, Selector switches, Screen Selectors, Data Entry objects, Information displays, Alarm diagnostics and a variety of drawing elements ranging from basic shapes, custom graphics, standard ISA symbols and bitmap images. The Operator terminal’s built-in Random Access Memory (RAM) is 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. Expand the non-volatile memory by installing an ATA memory card with memory options ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory. Other terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables.
