The IC694ACC310 is a series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platform accessory module.
This module is technically called as a filler module, sometimes also referred as slot filler or dummy module.
This component is mainly used to cover a vacant slot of a series 90-30 baseplate and protect the electronic circuitry
from the damage due to exposure to dust, dirt, oil, water, chemical and other industrial elements.
The IC694ACC310 occupies a single slot of the chassis.
It supports removal and insertion under power as this filler module does not connect to
the backplane as it does not carry contain any electronic circuitry however,
in old installations that are regularly exposed to vibration and shock, careful insertion and removal should be observed.
