The IC693CHS397 is a 5-slot baseplate from the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) family. 

During the product series active lifecycle, this hardware was part of GE Fanuc Automation however, 

the PLC series and other products were recently acquired by Emerson Automation. 

The IC693CHS397 has a total of Five (5) slots and another uncounted slot that is dedicated to the power supply module. 

This baseplate has One (1) slot dedicated to the Central Processing Unit (CPU) 

or specialty modules, Four (4) slots assigned for I/O, and option modules. 

It is also provided with an expansion slot located on the rightmost side of the hardware which can be used for rack extension. 

Only One (1) CPU is allowed to be installed on this baseplate.
