 The GE Fanuc IC693MDL230 is a 120 volt AC Isolated Input module. This product is made to work with the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller system. 

There is a single common power input terminal on this module, which provides power for all 8 input points. The points are isolated and the input circuits are reactive inputs. 

As the module has input characteristics, it is widely compatible with many different input devices. For example, users can operate this module with pushbuttons, electronic proximity switches and limit switches to name a few. 

To operate these devices, power must be supplied to the module by the user. Naturally, this must be AC power as DC power sources will not work with this module.
